KrewBase ("we", "us") operates the KrewBase channel-manager application and related services for serviced-accommodation operators. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect

• Account data — name, email address and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash) when you register.
• Business data you add — properties, pricing, reservations, guest names and booking details you manage through the service.
• Integration data — API credentials and synchronised content from connected channels (e.g. Channex, PriceLabs) that you choose to link.
• Device data — push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) used solely to deliver alerts you enable.

How we use it

• To provide and operate the service (authentication, synchronisation, pricing, reservations, notifications).
• To secure the service, prevent abuse and debug issues.
• To bill you for paid plans via our payment processor.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Processors

We use Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (push notifications), Channex and PriceLabs (channel and pricing integrations, only when you connect them). Data is processed within the UK/EEA wherever possible and protected by appropriate safeguards where transferred elsewhere.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You may request export or deletion of your account and associated data at any time via [email protected]; deletion is completed within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
